The amazing Dust Breaks and I decided to work on a song called "Glass of Tea" for a youtube project! This was the first time I got to understand the music making process :)

I was already making covers, but inspired by this fun project we decided to pursue an even bigger project!

Of course this first year, the stakes were low and it was all about understanding what kind of vibe we wanted to achieve! As an artist, this experimental first year testing sounds, and jamming with the "Name Pending" crew challenged me to really become a better writer and ask myself what sound and story did I want to share with the world!

With the sound a bit more solidified in Dream Pop, an up and coming genre with amazing artists like Raveena, Parekh & Singh, and Beach House. 2020 though locked down, was a year of storytelling! It was also the year I tested was able to pull from my acappella routes and apply more harmonies and backing vocals to my sound!

In 2021, my Dream Pop dreams expanded into other categories including Alt Rock, EDM, Ballads, and more shaping up to be quite the eclectic EP! 

By collaborating with some amazing guitarists, we were able to breath new life into some of songs and shape the EP to what it is today :)

This year was all about the visual— bringing words to life via two music videos and canvas pieces! Thanks to the wonderful creative community here in the Bay, I was able to take my stories even further and am proud of what we've created!

We also recorded all my vocals at a studio and learned what that's all about! So much goes into creating an album and getting to take in each part of the journey piece by piece has been an experience of life time!
